I am getting married!

Sorry for not updating since I was on a strike, LOL, not! Been quite busy really, hence I didn't update the blog.

Goodbye 2011, welcome 2012. Never too late yea? :D Last year was filled with much events and happenings, some sweet, some, well, I need not mention. Especially with the bf, we grew closer than ever after that.

Yes, I am getting married but the date itself, I'm not sure yet. The bf did mention about the plans of getting married, but when I asked him when, he'd just grin and say,"Just wait. When I say it officially, you better be ready!"

It kinda left me with cold feet! Seriously, I am sooo nervous still! I know, I like watching people getting married, but for me, oh god, its the big plunge that I am nervous about. Sure, I am so much in love with the bf, he is too, but I am just scared. I admit, I am scared of commitments, but with him, its the first time that my relationship lasts for more than 4 years!

Well, easier said than done, I've been trying to calm my nerves, and hope for the best that I won't chicken out.

A few days ago, I went to have breakfast with him, and before I said anything, he mentioned about the engagement rings ( he didn't want to get engaged at first but then he insisted that he wanted to ) and then renovating my room and such! I think I went white as a ghost because after that he held my hand and asked are you okay? LOL!!! And he went on talking about the plans. I think I went blank again soon after...ahaha :P

I just want a small wedding filled with close families and my friends. Let's just hope it will turn out well, Amin.

Weird? But yes, badminton is my favourite sport. I don't like watching it on t.v, but I'd prefer to play the sport myself :) I like the feel of the adrenaline rush when the shuttlecock gets closer, and my focus is just on the shuttlecock, wow! I nicked this picture from a cool blog, also on food :D Yay, but yes, lately, this fastfood joint has been the place where my most frequented visit :P I am proud to say I am addicted to Brunei's only fastfood joint's food (Express Fastfood), ranging from the fat chips with lots of seasoning (I always requested for lots of seasoning when placing my order, nyaman kali ah, you try it jua yourself!), chicken roll (it's got this herb taste, my guess would prolly be rosemary), the chicken pie (pastry's crumbly and yummeh!), the chicken is fried to perfection! :D There's no other place that can beat this fastfood joint! To me that is :P

My dad was a policeman before, so we moved houses a lot while I was growing up ,but I do have fond memories of one house in particular :D*giggles* my sister is gonna kill me if she sees this hahaha :P but yes, as for this project, I decided to put in this picture.

This is only a part of the house, but this is where all the imagination comes into life. Its just a bathroom with a bath tub, but to us kids, its serves as a swimming pool or even an ocean *giggles* we kids do have wild imaginations! Me, my cousins and sisters would all soak ourselves in the tub filled with soap and such and dive as if it's a pool! LOL! I miss those days!

As for today, I did go somewhere, I went to the clinic, for a follow-up post tri-monthly blood test. Results showed my blood sugar was good, but the Uric Acid is high, which leads to Gout. Got me worried :S I'll have to control my food intake then :) C'est La Vie :D

Yes, Sundays are supposedly to be fun days, especially when I don't have to be roused early just to have breakfast! LOL! I am not a morning person, hence, I care less about getting all dolled up.

We went to this DimSum joint at the Scout's building in, Gadong. My rating was just a plain, 3. I still prefer Szechuan's and Emperor's Court's Dim Sums!

I look ugleh in the morning! Hell I care! LOL!

Sorry for not updating, I sprained my left arm and it feels like hell. Its better now :)

Well, as you can see, this is a picture of my car when it was new. Yes, I wish I could forget how stupid I was for lending that smelly, ugly, hideous idiot, my car. He made it buruk! Damn! I wish I could forget that! But as karma goes, what goes around, comes around :)

Ah-huh, yes, you can see stalls, stalls for food! Hahaa its like, macam tah di Brunei nada kan? :P I like eating! ;) Yes, I'd love to travel to Morocco, especially to Marrakesh, where I can shop till I drop and eat till I bloat! Hahaha besides, its my ancestral land, maybe one day I might, I WILL! :D *hopes and wishes and work very hard and... MEREPEK* ehhehee :P It's like what Cinderella sings about, the dream that you wish, will come true :D

This is me when I was about 2-3 years old *giggles* yes, I was darn cute and not that chubby :) and that white thing on top of my head, is a ribbon hehe :P I wonder where was I off too when daddy took this picture :D The wall to the left is where I used to *ahem* practice my drawing skills. I remember drew endless big circles using a pencil... LOL those days!

I chose this scene, because it is also part of my insecurity, being lost and all alone. I come from a big family of 8 siblings, and all thoughout, we used to have noisy maids. Hahaha yes, being alone, makes me very insecure.

You might be wondering why I chose this picture of a book, kan? Well, its because I wasn't judged fairly like how I deserved to be, no matter how I object, which leads to rejections in applying jobs outside and even chances to go up. I still blame it on "her". Such a b***h, and may you rot in hell!!! Hahaha *evil laugh* and she now makes my life miserable. And just you remember, what goes around, comes around. Thats karma!

Vacationing - Day 02

No, there is no Day 01 to this post, its because I didn't post any hehehe, I went to Miri yesterday and it was the same old, same ol'. Hence no posts.

But as for today, I went to eat Kolo Mee at the usual :D and then its off to the movies with the bf and The Mall Gadong. Since he wanted to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa, I was all nods anyways. Aku sakai, because we watched it at this new deluxe screen cinema, was small, but NEW. Hahaha :P

Anyways, the movie was boring, but pretty good for a start la.... *ponders on with a blank look* hahaha :P

After that, on our way back to the car park, we passed by "Beard Papa's" to try the oh-so-famous cream puffs, was ok, its just that they have the crunchy puffs on the outside and the bland cream on the inside, I'd give it a 2 out of 5.

Plus post that again, I've been craving for the Cakoi at Telanai-Beribi junction, near by Maju Motors until, FINALLY, today, I get my hands on 'em babies! Hahaha *evil laugh*
Out of 5, I'd give it a 4. Yes, its yummy, with their own made kaya, which is somewhat not so sweet but a mixture of it will keep you coming back for more.

To you she may not be all that, but to me, she's waaaayyyy cool! Hehe She is, Julia Child. Julia Child was an American chef, author and television personality. She introduced French cuisine via her cook book and she would never take defeat until she gets things right. And for that, she is my inspiration :D

I've always been close with both my parents. I cannot imagine my life without them both. Maybe I'd be like a headless chicken hahaha but on a more serious note, it might be true. I always go back to them for guidance or wisdom on anything. I love both of them to bits!

After 5 long months, they are back on business! Finally! Hehehe me and daddy earlier, went to Popular restaurant to have late breakfast. I had a piece of vadai and chicken samosa, and its as yummy as I remembered it. Vadai is an Indian doughnut, crunchy on the outside, and soft with spices inside, and the chicken samosa had a crunchy skin :D perfect! But, it also had a glitch, the chicken dosai, wasn't as yummy as it was before. Call it a win-win situation? Hehehe :P again, rating? I'd give it a 3.5, because this place never failed me :D

Today, me, daddy and the two gremlins went to my cousin's sons' 1st birthday party :D He is just oh soooo cute! Like daddy said, muka Kabul hehe ;) Happy Birthday Ikram! Amit suka teh tarik tadi! The food is also very yummy!

This flower is what I got one of my bff for her wedding day :D In specific, I love flowers, but I love roses most to be precise. I picked this picture because I love this bouquet, it looks soooo pretty and it means a lot :D

Today, I had lunch with my sister hehehe and she feels like having roasted potatoes. Well, I then suggested Radisson since I haven't been there in a while, and I feel like having meat, especially after be-ambil darah session in the morning. Chips does not suffice to add up on the blood drawn aaa....3 tubes! Plus, I'm an E-trait, I'm not proud of it either.

Well, We had a hard time deciding whether to eat at Deals or Tasek, and I came up with a brilliant hi-dea! LOL! I told my sister, why not check out the buffet since there's no people there, and lady luck was on my side today. Today's buffet theme was international, and everything was there. From beef salad to beef stew, roasted potatoes, pasta, soup, breads! What more can a person ask for? LOL :P We were both satisfied to the max after that, but what I liked most out of today's layout was the beef stew, I kid you not, its sooo yummy! And the baked cheesecake and chocolate eclair. Overall, out of 5, I'd rate it a 3.5.

Pricing wise, it is quite cheap really, all in all for the lunch buffet at Radissons, costs you about $20. Not bad, try it out! :D

A picture of something I hate is the sight of road kills. I really pity whatever animals it is that always gets run over by some irresponsible drivers. It makes me cringe just looking at it.

Yesterday was quite hectic but definitely one of the most important dates in the family. It was daddy's and my nephew Izat's birthday, and at the same time, we welcomed a new baby girl as well! Yay! I have a new niece! :D ~~\0/~~ LOL MIRC days!

She does not have a name yet, so I guess, I can call her, pretty baby girl, you reckon? ;) hehe anyhow, congratulations to my sister Fazleena :D

From there, we then celebrated Daddy's and Izat's birthday at The Stadium restaurant :D The menu was upon daddy's choice :D I just follow the crowd laaa... :P

The tofu was good, quite yummy but my tummy was upset, the hong kong kailan, I can't give you the verdict but my sister seems to like it :D The fish was a tad bit salty, or else it would've been perfect, buttered prawns were good, but what I like most is the roasted chicken. Its unlike the crispy chicken like you get at RBC or anywhere, where it tastes rather bland, but here, the flavour goes deep, which gives the chicken evenly flavoured and roasted. My rating, out of 5, I'd give it a 3. They also serve dim sum, which is to me, quite affordable la, and not so bad :D Give it a try! My favourite dish here, would have to be the Chicken Chop with Satay Sauce, seriously, the chicken chop is very yummy! Try it!

Again, sorry for the late update. I was oh so busy yesterday with things, especially when my sister gave birth and it was also daddy's birthday. So, yes, bear with me :P

Hehehe ok, as for yesterday's project, its this picture that takes the most of it hehehe yes, we are a bunch of people who have gone through pretty messed up things at the office hehe and in the end, I received the label as the "princess" as I'm the brat and I always get what I want with my power of persuasion LOL :P yes, I cannot pin point a person for we were a team before :D

As for today, me and mummy went to get takeaway for my sister, but eventually, we did order the takeaway and also ended up eating there ourselves hehe :P

I haven't been to this place since quite a while, its been years actually! The place is Seri Damai Restaurant. Met the owner as well, did a bit of catching up and ended up giving me Pakistani Orange :D It was yummy and it was for sale too! The food there is also quite yummy. The naan is fluffy, which is not quite like the typical Indian Naan. The chicken karahi was as yummy like the last time I remembered it to be :D You should check this place out. The location is in Kiulap, at the same block with Chong Hock and Vivid Square Cafe :D My ratings, out of 5, a 3.5. Try it out!

Sorry for forgetting to upload yesterday. Yesterday was, I was, busy :P hehe yes, and again, I was hungry and forgot to take pictures of food. Bad, bad me :P ehehe besides, I was with the gremlins, hence, no picture taking. Back to my project.

This is a picture of my nephew, Za'em Isad :) this boy, is the cutest with his antics! Hehe seriously! Yesterday, me and daddy with the 2 gremlins went to their house, and the gremlins went with his brother Isa, upstairs. Za'em wanted to come, but I was too lazy to, that I told him, Amit sakit kaki. What Za'em did? Tiupnya my feet so that baik, inda sakit lagi! LOL! Cute! Absolutely adorable!
