A fun day out with the workshop delegates

It was a hectic end of month for us at my office, but we managed to pull it all off successfully with good reviews as our feedback. I was the house-keeping announcer/floor manager/tour guide throughout the whole event. It was fun while it lasted. I surely will miss everyone's smile.

Me and the lovely ladies from Myanmar. They kept insisting that we should take a picture together with them :D

A quiet place for sushi

This place is sooo quiet that I even forgot the name of this restaurant. Maybe I will update the name soon, I'll go browse for it. Anyhow, this new sushi joint is seriously quiet when they have one of the yummiest sushi dishes in town apart from Misato and Excapade. People should consider coming here. Plus, a bonus, you get a free eye candy...LOL, yes, the one who makes the sushi actually looks like Hans Isaac! Handsome! Ok, back to food, LOL! Ratings 8 out of 10. A must go.

Come to mama...hahaha Tamago Sushi on a belt and below

An array of mixed sushi such as the tuna salad, inari and whatever the other one is called LOL :P

The gyoza is out of this world! I loike!!!

A mixture of sushis' on my sister's plate!

Agedashi Tofu - My favourite!

My sister said that this is yummy

Dining in somewhere outside the norm

Went on a short trip to the neighboring country to try this so-called yummy steaks and such at one of the hotels. The service was alright, so was the ambiance. But when the food came, it wasn't much to my taste. Maybe because I was sick, I'm not sure. But the lamb wasn't at all nice, so, I don't think my palette agreed to the reputation that I heard of earlier :S

The Brown one - Black Pepper Sauce, The White one - Mushroom Sauce, tastes more like melted butter

Daddy's stew

The Mee Goreng, Ok lahhhh... :S

My lambchops...hmm...Its actually 'hard as a rock'

Picturesque!

I've seen it on the local paper about this place, but never in my mind, could it be this breath-takingly this picturesque! And its just nearby! Huhu! Guess where is this place?

MIRI

Ambuyat-ings

Sometimes, I crave for food that is somehow beyond my usual food helpings at home. Mind you, we do not eat ambuyat at home, due to the fact, my dad doesn't eat 'em which he still blames my late grandmother for not teaching him how to eat it. LOL! I only learned how to eat this, gooey, glue-like, wonderful sticky thing maybe almost 3 years ago. I sort of liked it, well, with the cicah like binjai, I'm all good, but I do hate the taste of Tempoyak (pickled durian) *cringe* I'm no expert when it comes to ambuyat but, whenever I want an ambuyat fix, I'd just head to any Aminah Arif / Seri Balai branch and wallah!!! Love, love, love the belutak and urat tumis!

Taa-dah! Le Ambuyat!!!

Le Ikan Goreng :P

Yum, Cicah Binjai

Being Idle on a hot day is alright

Chilling out on a hot afternoon in a not-so-cold cafe but well known for its molten lava chocolate cake isn't that bad afterall :) The place, Vintage Rose in Kiulap. Ratings - 7 out of 10, service wise, they're a bit behind but thank god for their dishes! Do try out the Tuna Potato Croquettes, its also one of my favourite!

The molten chocolate lava cake or better known as the Hot Chocolate Lovers' Fudge

My memory's a 'lil rusty nowadays, I don't remember what pizza this was
