Mother's Day cum Brother-in-law's Advanced by a few hours Birthday Dinner

We were late by a day in celebrating Mother's Day but still, its the thoughts that matters right? :) We celebrated Mother's Day and My Brother-in-law's birthday at this restaurant called Dim Sum in Gadong. My rating an 8 out of 10, not that bad laa :D

I am amused by this sayur, ia keribo!

Buttermilk chicken

Sizzling Japanese Tofu

Mongolian Black Pepper Lamb

Brocollie and straw mushrooms

Fried squids yum!

Ngangah Aji's cake, big football fan :D which reflects on the cake

This cake looked yummy and was supposedly to be crunchy and it ended up being soggy-chewy! Yucks!

We sure got cake alright, we got 3 cakes!

Candle blower enthusiasts :P

Sizzle-ing

I guess it just runs in the family that we like to eat out, but also, we can cook! :P Hahahha (angkat bakul la dulu sekejap) kekeke anyhow, it was this one evening, me, papi and mami :P went to go eat at Giant's foodcourt. I've been daydreaming of the sizzling sweet and sour chicken (tsk.....its not quite the greatest but the thought of it sizzling on a hot plate managed to seduce my taste buds on that day) This outlet can also be found in Miri. Anyhow, my rating, a 7.5 out of 10.

Bombay Palace

Had dinner last night with both my parents and my lil sister at this new eatery located at Batu Bersurat. We were enthusiastic about it, since it serves Northern Indian cuisine which I absolutely loved! Hehehe When we arrived there, the service itself was good, we were greeted by the chef himself. Pretty patient with our 'ulah lambat meng-order' LOL :P I guess he saw that coming already. My ratings, hmm, I still prefer Zaika over this place to be honest. My grade, 7 out of 10. Pricing wise, its between Zaika and Lotus, hence its not that steep for the pocket :D

You won't miss the place with the signage, I promise! :P

This is the BANANA Lassi! I absolutely loved it! I love BANANAS! Seriously! *_*
Well, I've never heard of Banana Lassi anyways, hehe and I ended up loving it!

The stuffed Na'an, stuffed with curried potatoes and cheese.

This is the Panner Tikka Masala. Not quite nice, because it tasted more like chillies and less spices :S

The chicken tikka masala, was good :)

The samosa, loved the skin but not the insides. A bit disappointed tho pasal its masin and the chutney that goes with it was, erm, yucky!

The mutton do piaza, daddy loved this one

The rest of our order last night, gee, I forgot what the names were haha :P

A scene that plays in my head over and over

Just had this song in my head as well as the scene...hehe enjoy!

I would like to congratulate my BFF, Ak. Seokri Bakhtiar bin Pengiran Rohaizad on his engagement to his 'beloved gf' :) Am so happy for you dude. Its not that I am jealous or anything, but he's got a good eye for an engagement ring! If only I could just grab that ring and wear it myself! LOL *evil smile* hahaha not! Anyhow, congratulations once again. Too bad we didn't get to take pictures together :S

The pretty ring

Trip to Ulu Belalong

It was a fun fine day at ulu belalong that one weekend. Tho I didn't manage much to go up the canopy walk, but all that kayaking and swimming was one thing that I highlighted throughout the entire journey. Heheh too bad I didn't take pictures of the food that we had but it was, out of 10, a 9! We had udang galah masak merah, ayam masak kicap and sayur pucuk. Yum! My dearest sister loved the sambal ayam penyet which was served for lunch.

She came close to poking the monkey's nose! LOL!!! Not! :P

La Bellas!

Nice view huh?

They give massages in the mid of the forest!!! @_@

The map to the canopy walk

We weren't the only people visiting

Also such a picturesque view

If you can see it, there's a group of butterflies 'melepak'

Pretty houses everywhere

We were going to go look at my sister's 'new' house, which is expected to be completed by June. Location wise, it's in Lumut. As we were looking for her house, I was surprised to see soo many pretty houses around the vicinity. I thought to myself, wow, Bruneians ARE getting richer by the day. You reckon? ;)

Prolly my favourite house amongst all, I just love that front entrance with the staircase
