A race? No, more like a goal

No, my post this time isn't about food, but about me. Yes, I've gone potbelly. Hahaha I need to lose the weight. And what's fabulous is, my blood sugar is also at a high....hence I've to race against time to lose the weight I put on....here goes! Wish me luck peeps!

Kolo Mee and Tuna Toast

This place has always been my favourite visit and never disappoints me. The tuna toast is nice, consider it to be one of my comfort food, its just a tad bit sweet, I guess its the mayonnaise but the Kolo mee, is my favourite! Yum! A 8.5 out of 10. Place, Teo Poi Hoon, Kiulap.

Universal Cafe updated

As was said at the Food Guide magazine, it did state that the Jelly with ice-cream was the high-light of the visit to this cafe, but apparently it failed me. Nope, it does not appeal to me that this jelly is the best. I'd give it a 5. What makes it yummy is just the ice-cream, and not the jelly.

Mother's Day cum Brother-in-law's Advanced by a few hours Birthday Dinner

We were late by a day in celebrating Mother's Day but still, its the thoughts that matters right? :) We celebrated Mother's Day and My Brother-in-law's birthday at this restaurant called Dim Sum in Gadong. My rating an 8 out of 10, not that bad laa :D

Sizzle-ing

I guess it just runs in the family that we like to eat out, but also, we can cook! :P Hahahha (angkat bakul la dulu sekejap) kekeke anyhow, it was this one evening, me, papi and mami :P went to go eat at Giant's foodcourt. I've been daydreaming of the sizzling sweet and sour chicken (tsk.....its not quite the greatest but the thought of it sizzling on a hot plate managed to seduce my taste buds on that day) This outlet can also be found in Miri. Anyhow, my rating, a 7.5 out of 10.

Bombay Palace

Had dinner last night with both my parents and my lil sister at this new eatery located at Batu Bersurat. We were enthusiastic about it, since it serves Northern Indian cuisine which I absolutely loved! Hehehe When we arrived there, the service itself was good, we were greeted by the chef himself. Pretty patient with our 'ulah lambat meng-order' LOL :P I guess he saw that coming already. My ratings, hmm, I still prefer Zaika over this place to be honest. My grade, 7 out of 10. Pricing wise, its between Zaika and Lotus, hence its not that steep for the pocket :D

You won't miss the place with the signage, I promise! :P

Its not that I am jealous or anything, but he's got a good eye for an engagement ring! If only I could just grab that ring and wear it myself! LOL *evil smile* hahaha not! Anyhow, congratulations once again. Too bad we didn't get to take pictures together :S

Trip to Ulu Belalong

It was a fun fine day at ulu belalong that one weekend. Tho I didn't manage much to go up the canopy walk, but all that kayaking and swimming was one thing that I highlighted throughout the entire journey. Heheh too bad I didn't take pictures of the food that we had but it was, out of 10, a 9! We had udang galah masak merah, ayam masak kicap and sayur pucuk. Yum! My dearest sister loved the sambal ayam penyet which was served for lunch.

She came close to poking the monkey's nose! LOL!!! Not! :P

Pretty houses everywhere

We were going to go look at my sister's 'new' house, which is expected to be completed by June. Location wise, it's in Lumut. As we were looking for her house, I was surprised to see soo many pretty houses around the vicinity. I thought to myself, wow, Bruneians ARE getting richer by the day. You reckon? ;)
